Why doesn’t my Polaris robotic pool cleaner start right away?
A couple of factors could be causing your Polaris robotic pool cleaner to not start right away. Let’s take a look at them.
Two Reasons Your Robotic Pool Cleaner Isn’t Starting Right Away
The first reason your robotic pool cleaner may not start right when you power it up is that it takes a moment to process the programming it needs to execute and calibrate for the cycle to start. So, it’s totally normal for your cleaner to take a second to get started. But this isn’t always the case.
Very cold temperatures can also delay the start time slightly. For that reason, it’s not recommended to turn the cleaner on in temperatures lower than 45°F.
A Delayed Start Isn’t Always Cause For Concern
Unless your Polaris robotic cleaner is trying to operate in very cold temperatures, the delayed start is part of the standard operating process.
